This project involved designing a digital book from the famous novel ‘Brave New World’ written by Aldous Huxley. It consisted of choosing a chapter and reimagining the text as a digitally dynamic book. I chose to  create the application to be mobile first and create a microsite that informs a user how the digital novel works, this was done through the creating animations and screen grabs.

The brief was also an ISTD brief which implied that the application should be purely typographic — I chose to represent my concept through the use of a find a word, encouraging the user to interact with the idea of censorship alongside an interest 

in the content. 

This project has led me to become a finalist in the International Society of Typography competition for 2017.
